Recent Activity PROUD TO BE A WILDCAT
Onsted Community Schools offers athletic opportunities at the varsity (V), junior varsity (JV), freshman (FR), and middle school (MS) levels, within 18 different sports, totaling 50 different teams. The Wildcats are members of the Lenawee County Athletic Association, one of the top athletic leagues in the state. Our soccer teams are members of the ISL, girls golf and tennis are members of the SMAA. Onsted Schools have three gymnasiums for basketball, competitive cheer, volleyball and wrestling. Our outside facilities include baseball, football, soccer, tennis and track and field . The cross country, golf and bowling teams use off-site practice facilities
Onsted Athletics have had very succesful and competitive programs that have won many league, district, regional and state championships. Fifty percent of our students participate in various athletic programs. The success of the athletic programs are due to the overall work ethic of our student athletes, whose common qualities include team spirit, hard work, sportsmanship, and preserverance. Our excellent coaching staff believes in developing the social, mental and physical attributes of our student athlete. Onsted Community Schools believe in the benefits of Educational Athletics.

STATE QUALIFIERCongratulations to Heidi Wobrock for qualifying for the MHSAA State Cross Country finals this Saturday at MIS in Brooklyn MI. Come out and support Heidi this Saturday as she attempts to reach All-State status. The division 3 girls race will begin at 10:30am.
GIRLS GOLFThe girls golf team has received Academic All State Honors as a team. The girls have a combined GPA of 3.81.
Girls Golf - SMAA 2011The Girls Varsity Golf Team is finishing strong this season by capturing the SMAA League Tournament. The girls shot a combined 414 at Lakeland Hills Golf Club. The strong performance at the league meet allowed the "CATS" to claim 2nd place overall in the SMAA behind Parma Western. Majerle Slater was SMAA medalist on the day with a 91, earning 1st team honors. Karah Slater also earned 1st team honors with her 99 and Charlie Shepherd's 109 was good enough for her to garner honorable mention status. Congratulations to all the girls and Coach Steve Head.
